Doha, Qatar: The Criminal Investigation Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in Qatar apprehended a gang involved in several thefts that targeted gold stores.
The suspects were arrested at the airport just before leaving the country and were subsequently handed over to the Public Prosecution.
CCTV footage inside a jewellery store captured a man and two women distracting the salesperson while they stole gold pieces before leaving the store afterwards.
The same modus operandi was repeated in another store.

The criminals were tracked through CCTV from the moment they left their residence until they arrived at Hamad International Airport, where they were apprehended with the stolen items in their possession.
The suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution to proceed with the necessary procedures.
