Doha: International Bank of Qatar (ibq) is launching a campaign for its credit cardholders who buy a car during Ramadan to receive limitless thanq reward points.
It could give credit card customers enough points to buy a return flight to Mumbai, Cairo or Istanbul. If an ibq Visa signature card holder buys a car worth QR200,000, he will get points worth a return flight to Frankfurt. The campaign offers customers reward points when buying a car with their ibq credit cards. Customers need to call the bank to register for the campaign before topping up their credit card limit to the car price, and then receiving limitless thanq points to the value of the car.
Car showrooms that accept payments by credit card are part of the campaign, and in particular, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Nissan, Peugeot, Ram and Renault.
Hassan Al Mulla, Head, Retail Banking, ibq, said: “This is an ideal time to buy a car if you are an ibq credit cardholder as thanq reward points will make it worth it. Credit card customers who register for the campaign could receive enough points to fly to India, Turkey or Egypt. By rewarding customers in this way, our thanq programme shows how much we value their loyalty to our brand, services and products.”
ibq pioneered the award-winning and popular programme. thanq offers customers opportunity to accumulate points across a wide range of products and services and redeem them to book travel on over 800 airlines and 160,000 hotels worldwide. Terms and conditions apply.
