Marriott touts its Ramadan tent attractions

DOHA:  The Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel in Qatar is celebrating the holy month of Ramadan by showcasing authentic Qatari culture and lavish Iftar and Suhoor buffets at its Ramadan tent, Wanassa. 

“Ramadan is a very special time, both religiously and spiritually. But it is also a time about coming together, spending time with family and close friends, and appreciating a different way of life,” said Alex Kyriakidis,President and Managing Director, Marriott International Middle East and Africa. “Our first value at Marriott is taking care of our associates, and that is what makes us a family all around the world. It is in our DNA to embrace the various cultures and traditions in our region.”
Located on the first floor, Wanassa will serve Iftar from sunset to 8 pm for QR235, and Suhoor from 9pm to 1.30am for QR245, inclusive of soft drinks and Ramadan juices.
