DOHA: Eighteen most promising Qatar Museums (QM) employees celebrated their success yesterday after completing Qreation Generation 2, a high-level professional development programme to shape future arts and cultural leaders of QM, Qatar and the region.
H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson, QM, and its senior representatives attended the graduation at Museum of Islamic Art to celebrate staff achievements during the programme.
Qreation Generation, initiated by Sheikha Al Mayassa in 2013 and overseen by QM’s Department of Education, is a six-month Master’s programme covering management of cultural institutions and leadership curriculum tailored for QM.

“We envision QM as a creative hub that supports, encourages and develops professional skills of our promising and aspiring colleagues.
“We also envision QM as the employer of choice that ensures its employees’ capabilities keep pace with and exceed current industry standards and best practice.”
