Ankara: Qatar's Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs H E Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al-Kuwari met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister of Religious Affairs Mohammad Gormaz, on the sidelines of his participation in the ceremony of honouring the winners of the International Award for memorisation and recitation the Holy Quran, in Ankara.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of common concern.
In a press statement after the meeting, the Minister said that the visit aimed at completing the joint cooperation between the two countries, in addition to participating in the ceremony honoring the winners of the Holy Quran competition.
