WASHINGTON: A Turkish Airlines flight from Houston, Texas, was diverted to Shannon, Ireland, on Sunday after officials discovered a handwritten bomb threat, CNN reported.

The Boeing 777, which had been headed to Istanbul, landed safely and all 209 passengers, including two infants, disembarked safely, CNN said. They were moved to a secure part of the airport while officials swept the plane.
