16 ISIS militants killed in eastern Afghanistan air strikes

Kabul: Sixteen loyalists of the (ISIS) group have been killed in newest air strikes in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan.
Two air strikes were conducted on ISIS positions in Abdulkhil and Bandar areas of Achin District leaving six militants killed, Afghan News Agency (Khaama) quoted officials as saying.
One of those killed is identified as Qari Wahab, a commander of the group.
The third airstrike was carried out on a ISIS position in Gurguri area of Haska Mina District leaving 10 militants killed. Qari Hafizullah, a commander of the group is reportedly among the dead ones.
Two multicycles, ammunition and weapons belonging to the group were also destroyed in the air strikes.
There was no harm to civilians.
Nangarhar has turned into a hotspot of ISIS where it is trying to establish a regional command.
