Seoul: The State of Qatar participated in the International Police Summit (IPS 2025), held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, with the participation of senior police leaders and representatives of international organizations.
Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) H E Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud Al-Thani led the MOI’s delegation at the summit.
Participants at the summit adopted a joint declaration calling for the establishment of a practical global alliance to disrupt transnational crime networks, enhance international cooperation in combating cybercrime and AI-driven fraud, and develop mechanisms for information exchange and joint coordination among countries.
The Ministry of Interior’s participation reaffirms the State of Qatar’s commitment to actively contributing to international efforts to safeguard global security and strengthen police partnerships in innovation, training, and modern law enforcement technologies.
