Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), through the Department of Sports Affairs, will organise the World Walking Day Festival under the auspices of the World Organization for Sport for All (TAFISA) on Thursday at the Park Museum of Islamic Art.
More than 500 students from various schools in Qatar are participating in the festival. The Organizing Committee has invited the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to participate in the event. A number of sports stars have also been invited to participate in the festival. The event will start at 8am and lasts until 11pm.
