Q-Auto the official dealer of Audi in Qatar, has joined hands with Qatar Cancer Society in solidarity of breast cancer awareness month. The brand is showing their support by representing the month’s theme through a pink decorative design of their main showroom on Salwa road.
The dealer added a supportive touch to their model range by decorating their vehicles with personalised pink ribbons, promoting the cause to visitors. Moreover, employees also made their stance known by wearing breast cancer pins and distributing breast cancer information leaflets to clients entering the showroom. The guide aims to educate women about common symptoms, methods of prevention and benefits of early detection. QCS donation boxes were also visibly placed in the dealership, giving an opportunity to both customers and employees to contribute to the campaign by donating money.
“Audi has a long history of supporting a number of important community causes,” said Anthony Kwan, Marketing Manager of Audi Qatar. “We are happy to work with QCS in their endeavours to help generate awareness about breast cancer, particularly because cases of the disease have increased alarmingly in the region over the past decade. As part of our ongoing corporate social responsibility, we hope that our current campaign will make a lasting difference in the Qatar community and that our efforts will help encourage others to join the fight against breast cancer.”
Commenting on the recent awareness efforts, Abdulrahman Alhosani marketing coordinator of Qatar cancer society said: “At Qatar cancer society, we have been working towards increasing breast cancer activities during the month of October. Our goal is to shed light on the reality that breast cancer is a treatable disease and not necessarily fatal if detected early.
