Doha, Qatar: Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education (PUE) welcomed approximately 150 new employees during the Human Resources New Joiner Orientation Programme, held at the Pre-University Education Theatre.

The programme aimed to support new employees as they begin their professional journey and introduce them to Qatar Foundation’s (QF) culture and working environment.

The programme reflects PUE’s commitment to providing new employees with a comprehensive onboarding experience, enabling them to learn about QF’s mission, vision, policies, and procedures, understand their roles within its education ecosystem, and become familiar with the resources and services available to them. This helps support their integration and engagement from day one.

President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation, Abeer Al-Khalifa said: “We are committed to ensuring that our new colleagues’ first days provide an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of QF, its mission and culture, as well as the educational community they have become part of.”

“We believe that every employee who joins PUE brings valuable experience and capabilities that enrich our educational mission and strengthen our ability to create a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of our students and our community.”

“PUE continues to attract outstanding talent and expertise from around the world, reflecting our strong commitment to providing exceptional educational services and experiences for our students and community. With this in mind, we place great importance on supporting our new employees and equipping them, from the start of their journey with us, with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to perform their roles effectively, grow professionally, and contribute to achieving our long-term educational goals.”

The programme featured a series of presentations and orientation sessions, as well as booths representing various QF entities and partners, giving new employees the opportunity to engage directly with their representatives and learn more about the services, resources, and benefits available to them.

This year’s programme saw expanded participation from Qatar Foundation entities and partners, including Qatar Airsways, Qatar National Library, the Education City Recreation Centre, the Jood team, and QF’s Primary Health Care Center, alongside several partners, including QLM Life & Medical Insurance Company, Ooredoo, and Vodafone. This gave new employees the opportunity to explore a wide range of services and connect directly with the entities and partners that will support them throughout their professional journey.

The Director, Human Resources at the Pre-University Education, Mohammed N. Al-Kaabi said, “We want our new employees to leave this programme with a deeper understanding of the organization, greater awareness of the resources available to them, and, most importantly, a sense from the very beginning that they are part of a connected community working toward a shared goal.”
