Qatar's Hamad Al Sahouti of Leopard Impala team in action during Race 1 of the European Talent Cup at Circuito De Jerez near Seville, Spain, yesterday.
Al Sahouti finished 16th in the 7-lap Race yesterday, clocking a time of 13:04.459 secs. His best lap time was 1:49.692 secs with a top speed of 145kmph. Spain's Maximo Martinez topped the race in 12:44.811secs.
Al Sahouti had finished 10th in the qualifying practice. Executive Director of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), Amro Al Hamad, yesterday said:
"This was supposed to be the final round for Hamad in the European Talent Cup but he would continue in the Asian Talent Cup. While the rounds of the European Talent Cup in Thailand, Malaysia and Japan have been cancelled due to the coronavirus situation, Hamad will take part in the Valencia round in Spain in September."
