Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, received the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands HE Tom Berendsen, today in Doha.
During the meeting, the relations of cooperation between the two countries were reviewed, along with ways to support and enhance them, and the latest regional developments were discussed, particularly the diplomatic efforts being made to enhance security and stability in the region, following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed, during the meeting, the State of Qatar's full support for the ongoing negotiations between the American and Iranian sides, to reach sustainable solutions to the outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, which would enhance regional security, contribute to opening new horizons for cooperation, development, and prosperity, and achieve the common interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
