Makkah: The first rounds of pilgrims from the State of Qatar arrived in Makkah to perform the Haj for the year 1444 AH yesterday, as large numbers of the country’s pilgrims left Hamad International Airport in a number of campaigns on board Qatar Airways.
The Department of Haj and Umrah Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, in coordination with all concerned authorities in the country, was keen to complete the travel procedures for pilgrims easily and smoothly.
The Qatari Haj Mission in the Holy Land, with all its supporting units and specialised committees, is working to serve the pilgrims of the State of Qatar and the Qatari campaigns, making every effort and harnessing all capabilities and means of support in order to enable them to perform the Fifth Pillar and all rituals in the best conditions.
Flocks of pilgrims from the State of Qatar continue arriving in Makkah to perform the Hajj rituals for this year by arriving to King Abdulaziz International Airport and the Pilgrims Airport in Jeddah. All pilgrims are set to arrive in Mecca on Friday and Saturday. They have been distributed over 19 approved campaigns, all of which work with all their administrative and technical staff to serve pilgrims during the Haj season in Mecca and the holy sites.
A number of pilgrims from the State of Qatar expressed their thanks to the Qatari Haj mission for its efforts.
