New Delhi--The budget session of Delhi assembly was adjourned for 15 minutes on Tuesday after the BJP sought an explanation from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the alleged fake degree of former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar.
“We demand an explanation from the chief minister over the fake degree of former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar,” said BJP legislator OP Sharma.
Delhi assembly speaker Ram Niwas Goel adjourned the house for 15 minutes following commotion in the assembly.
After the House reconvened, Kejriwal rose to reply on the Tomar issue but BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma rushed into the well of the House. The Speaker then ordered marshals to take Sharma out.
Kejriwal also attacked the Centre and demanded action against Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for favoring Lalit Modi.
