UNITED NATIONS: Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate all terrorists without any distinction.

Addressing a debate on the situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan's Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi said, “Any effort to destabilise parts of our country or to attack its territorial integrity will be responded forcefully.”

Acknowledging terrorism as a common challenge, she said that Pakistan has condemned the recent rise in violence in Afghanistan, including the atrocious attack on the Afghan Parliament.

She reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to cooperation with Afghanistan in fighting the scourge of terrorism.

Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan would play a constructive role in promoting peace and security in Afghanistan.
