The official source at the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Qatari citizens travelling to the United States who are carrying laptops, tablets, cameras, DVD players and electronic games devices must keep them in their luggage in order to avoid any consequences at airports.
US authorities have banned electronic devices from cabin baggage, which they can be shipped with luggage, said the statement. Mobile phones and medical devices are permitted, the source added.
