Doha, Qatar: Starting February 25, 2026, Qatar citizens will require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling to the United Kingdom.

The UK Embassy to Qatar in a statement said that passengers without an appoved ETA will not be permitted to board their flight.

"Passengers can apply for ETA through the official UK ETA app which can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play Store or through the official website," it added.

The embassy added that travellers are advised to apply for an ETA at least three working days prior to their traveling for a fee of 16 Euros.

ETA is an entry permit to the UK that allows multiple visits of up to six months at a time over the period of two years or until the passport expires.
