Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has launched 36 new electronic services through its digital platform on the Ministry’s official website.
The newly launched services cover a wide range of activities, including prize draws, sales promotions, festivals, clearance sales and brokerage services, enabling businesses and individuals to complete their transactions electronically with greater ease and transparency.
Under Prize Draw Licensing Services, the Ministry introduced electronic services for prize draw licensing, allowing users to apply for, amend or cancel prize draw licenses, as well as add prize draw details.
The package also includes Annual Sales Plan Services and Seasonal Sales Licensing Services, enabling applications for new annual sales plans and sales plans’ licenses, amendments and cancellation of seasonal sales licenses.
In the area of Loyalty Program and Promotional Offers Licensing Services, the Ministry launched dedicated electronic services for licensing loyalty programmes, “Scratch and Win” services and Special Offers Licensing services.
These services allow beneficiaries to apply for new licenses, amend existing ones or cancel them, all through the digital platform.
The new offerings also include services covering the licensing of festivals and initiatives, and final clearance sales.
Additionally, the Ministry introduced a comprehensive set of Brokerage Services, including applications for brokerage activity licenses, license amendments, renewals and cancellations.
The services also cover issuing, amending, cancelling and replacing brokerage activity cards in cases of loss or damage.
The Ministry said the launch of these 36 electronic services comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and strengthen the efficiency of government operations, in line with the State of Qatar’s vision to deliver smart, accessible and user-friendly government services.
