Gold climbs to three-week high as dollar weakens

Singapore: Gold climbed to ‌a three-week high on Monday as uncertainty stoked by the US Supreme Court's decision to strike down ‌a vast swathe of President Donald Trump's tariffs.

Spot gold climbed 1.2% to USD 5,163.60 per ounce, its highest in three weeks.

US gold futures for April delivery were up 2% at USD 5,184.90.

Regarding other precious metals, spot silver climbed 3.1% to USD 87.10 per ounce, its highest level in more than two weeks.

Spot platinum edged 1.2% higher to USD 2,182.60 per ounce, while palladium ​slipped 0.5% to USD 1,753.75.
