Doha: Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Sultanate of Oman H E Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman Al Thani underscored that the relations between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman are based on solid foundations, which are supported by deep roots of the ties between the two brotherly peoples.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ambassador said that the two countries have long-standing economic and political relations, based on a well-bred cultural heritage, which makes them consensual relations with growing goals and unlimited prospects for joint cooperation, stressing that these relations will witness further rapprochement during the visit of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar today.
Also, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Sultanate of Oman noted that the historic visit of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, which is his second external visit since taking power, and his meeting with Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, bear many indications for a bright future of bilateral relations at all levels and aspects by establishing a stage that works to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
He said that the visit will include many visions and projects to strengthen and develop relations between the two brotherly countries politically, economically, and culturally.
The Ambassador extended his sincere congratulations and blessings to HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman and all the Omani people on the 51st anniversary of the Omani National Day.
