New York: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for a permanent ceasefire and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. He also demanded full United Nations membership for the State of Palestine.
In a video address delivered on Monday evening during the launch of the High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the Palestinian President appreciated the positions of the countries that have recognized the State of Palestine, urging all other nations to do the same.

New York: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas hailed the mediation efforts of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
