Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced yesterday that it will introduce certain enhancements in the issuance of Treasury Bills starting from October 2022.
QCB said on Twitter that these enhancements include increasing the size of issuance, issuing shorter tenor instruments, and the issue of Treasury Sukuk.
The expected yields on Treasury Bills and Sukuk issuances for one week, one month, 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months, will be consistent with QCB’s existing monetary policy.
