Doha: The Ministry of Youth and Sports participated in the Moroccan-Gulf Forum on the Economic and Social Empowerment of Youth, hosted by Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco.
The forum brought together a number of officials, experts, and representatives of youth-related organisations from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Kingdom of Morocco.
The Ministry’s delegation was headed by Nasser Al-Jabri, and included Saud Al-Emadi, Abdullah Al-Ajmi, and Rashid Al-Khalifi.
This participation reflects the State of Qatar’s commitment to strengthening Gulf-Moroccan cooperation in the youth sector, developing partnerships, and exchanging expertise and best practices in areas related to the economic and social empowerment of young people, thereby expanding their opportunities to participate in development initiatives.
The forum, which served as a platform for exchanging visions and experiences among participants, discussed a range of topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation, supporting youth initiatives and projects, building youth capacities, and enhancing their integration into economic and social activities. It also reviewed several successful experiences and practices in this field.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports’ participation in the forum reflects its commitment to continuing to support and empower young people, and to enhance their presence in regional and international forums, in line with the state’s direction to invest in the potential of youth, develop their capabilities, and solidify their role as active partners in achieving sustainable development.
