Qatar Charity ended two projects on providing aid to needy families and distributing zakat in Gaza Strip as part of a campaign of Ramadan projects that the organization carried out during the month and targeted more than 10,000 poor individuals and orphans across the different provinces of Gaza.
In a statement, Qatar Charity said 660 poor Palestinian families obtained a one-time financial aid to cover their needs, particularly as Eid Al Fitr draws close.
Meanwhile, the zakat project targeted 770 poor and orphan families in order to alleviate their economic burdens ahead of Eid Al Fitr.
As Eid gets nearer, Qatar Charity provided Eid clothing for 264 children from the age group of 6-11 years from both genders as part of the Eid clothing project.
