MOSCOW--Russia's Agriculture Ministry has started to prepare a proposal on the possible extension of a ban on Western food imports, currently in place until early August, TASS news agency reported, citing ministry
representative Ilya Ananyev.
The ministry is preparing proposals on retaliatory actions against the extension of the European sanctions against Moscow, news agency RIA quoted the ministry as saying in a separate report.
