ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday expressed sorrow over loss of lives in Karachi due to extreme weather conditions and directed immediate medical relief to the affected persons.
The Prime Minister directed National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to take swift measures for public relief. He also directed the Ministry of Water and Power to regularly update the Prime Minister's Office about the supply of electricity.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stressed raising awareness among general public about dealing with hot weather conditions so as to lessen its effects.
