Khartoum: Sudanese Vice- President Hassabo Mohammed Abdel Rahman said the Doha Agreement has become a constitutional commitment.
He said the Sudanese government was fully committed to peace and stability in Darfur and that the agreement was a qualitative leap towards settling the conflict.
Rahman said the agreement has become a foundation for the peace process that cannot be neglected and called on armed groups to sign the deal to end violence.
Doha: Stenden University event management students are collaborating with Katara Cultural Village to create a Youngsters Art workshop at Ramadan Festival from June 25 to 27 from 8pm to midnight in Building No. 22. It aims to enhance youth’s ideas and motivation towards art by giving them opportunity to create, innovate and paint Islamic sculptures using tools. It will also bring people together to interact over art and handicrafts.
DOHA: Four-star hotel Ramada Encore Doha has been honoured for achieving the highest standards and quality of services in the hotel quality rating system at the third Annual Hotel Awards by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
The award recognised the hotel’s excellent standards and high quality services following a mystery audit by an independent party on QTA’s behalf. The hotel was among the 10 highest-scoring to receive the award.
