Doha, Qatar: Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) participated in the Global Partnerships Conference, held in London on May 19–20, 2026 and co-hosted by the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and British International Investment (BII).
The conference convened heads of state, ministers, multilateral institutions, philanthropic foundations, private sector leaders, and innovators to confront the most pressing challenges facing the global development agenda.

From economic instability and fragile health systems to conflict, climate disruption, and forced displacement. Against this backdrop, the Global Partnerships Conference served as a critical platform to forge the modern and diverse coalitions, spanning governments, multilateral organisations, the private sector, and civil society, that the scale and complexity of today’s challenges demand.
