AMAN Centre, QISH sign agreement to enhance cooperation

Doha, Qatar: The Centre for Protection and Social Rehabilitation (AMAN) has signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing to enhance cooperation (QISH).

The agreement was signed by Executive Director of the AMAN Centre Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani and QISH Chairman of the Board of Directors Issa bin Abdullah Al Mannai.

The cooperation agreement aims to consolidate the bonds of cooperation between the two parties and to achieve their common goals by creating a sustainable and practical framework between them.

This is in order to enhance the quality of services provided to the centre’s target groups of women, children, and victims of family disintegration due to violence, with the aim of protecting, rehabilitating, and reintegrating them into society.

According to the agreement, the two parties will be organising many events, activities and awareness campaigns, training courses and workshops to serve the target groups for both sides, and striving to achieve continuous development in the field of protection and social rehabilitation by benefiting from studies and research related to children’s issues.

In this context, Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani highlighted the importance of signing the cooperation agreement to achieving benefit for both parties, through the exchange of experiences and information.

He stressed the keenness of both sides to achieve innovation and development in proposals for awareness programs and training workshops for all workers in the field of social protection, this cooperation will also contribute to the role and services of QISH by providing support to cases benefiting from the services of the AMAN Centre in the shelter building.

For his part, Issa bin Abdullah Al Mannai expressed his happiness at signing this agreement with the Aman Centre, as a continuation of the community services and awareness process carried out by the Centre towards all the Qatari people and expatriates in the country. He added with this fruitful agreement with Aman Centre, it will shed more light on spreading awareness in the field of protecting and rehabilitating children.
