Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani attended the opening of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Security Last-Mile conference.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah also attended the opening.
The event, being held at Intercontinental hotel, will outline Qatar’s security readiness ahead of Qatar 2022, seek to identify the latest preparations for the tournament, enhance police cooperation and monitor the implementation of plans and strategies in collaboration with local, regional and international stakeholders.
The event will also ensure cooperation between tournament organizers and qualified countries.
