Al Gharafa finish second; Al Duhail third

Doha, Qatar: The third edition of Electronic Qatar Stars League (EQSL) concluded, with Al Rayyan winning the title for the second time in a row, following their victory over Al Gharafa in the final played on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
The event was attended by Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of QSL, Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at QSL, Mr. Nasser Yaqoub, Director of Sales and Marketing at QSL, and representatives from several media organisations.
Following the conclusion of the competitions, the winners were crowned. Al Rayyan secured first place, while Al Gharafa finished second. Al Duhail claimed third place after defeating Al Shahania in play-off.
The tournament, hosted by Mall of Qatar, began last Monday and lasted for three days. The first day featured matches for Group A, the second day for Group B and the final rounds were held on the third and final day.
The champions qualified for a place in qualifiers for 2026 Esports World Cup.
The tournament aims to keep supporting Qatari clubs and national team, keeping pace with the sport’s rapid development, expand community participation, and nurture and develop talents.
