The Department of Meteorology warned Saturday of strong wind over most areas and expected poor visibility inshore, and strong wind and high sea at first offshore.
Weather forecast for Qatar valid until 6:00pm Saturday inshore will be relatively hot daytime with slight dust to blowing dust at places, while offshore it will be slightly dusty at times.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 15 to 25 knot, reaching 30 knot at places at times, reducing gradually by evening to less than 12 knot. Offshore, it will be northwesterly 18 to 25 knot, reaching to 30 knot at places at first, decreasing to 05 to 15 knot later.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometer or less at places at times. The sea state inshore will be between 1 to 4 feet, rising to 5 feet at places at first, while offshore, it will be 6 to 8 feet, rising to 10 feet at places at times, then falling to 2 to 4 feet later.
