Pearl School held an orientation programme recently at the Thumama campus for the parents of KG1 students. The facilitator for the session was Marisa. The session commenced with the Principal’s address followed by Marisa’s interactive session with parents through a power point presentation. A video clipping showing “Nemo’s First Day At School” was shown to the parents depicting the anxieties which the parent and the child experience on the first day of school. Marisa also conducted an activity where the parents and the child participated together and made a drum with the help of paper cups, balloons, shells and decorative items. The parents were also given a small kit consisting of book marks and finger puppets along with general guidelines for KG1.
