Doha: In the framework of the deep-rooted friendly ties and multi-faceted and growing cooperation between India and Qatar, the Government of India has deputed a high level delegation to participate at the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022) running until March 23, 2022.
The delegation is led by Vice Admiral AjendraBahadur Singh PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command of the Indian Navy and other senior officials, said Embassy of Indian in Qatar in a statement.
The Government of India has also deputed Indian Naval Ship (INS)Kolkata, the lead ship of the three ‘Kolkata Class’ destroyers, one of the largest indigenously built destroyers to be operated by the Indian Navy. Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command of the Indian Navy will also be speaking at the Middle East Naval Commanders Conference being conducted on the sidelines of DIMDEX 2022.
