Following the two explosions in the departure hall of Brussels airport on Tuesday morning, Eurocontrol announced that the airport is closed until further notice.

Meanwhile the Brussels Airport warned fliers on its social media site through a tweet that read: "Dont come to the airport - airport is being evacuated. Avoid the airport area. Flights have been cancelled."

Meanwhile Qatar Airways has a direct flight from Brussels to Doha which is delayed as of filing this report.

Belgian News Agency reported that the police reported the explosions have left one dead and injured several others.
