Doha: Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs H E Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al-Thani conducted an inspection visit to the Rehabilitation Center for Boys, one of the centers affiliated with the Society.
The visit aimed to review the new building and assess its readiness to receive students in the upcoming phase.

Sheikh Dr. Khalid was welcomed by the center’s administrative, educational, and technical staff, as well as a group of students from the Scout Unit, who expressed their happiness at his visit.
Young swimmer Fahad Khalifa Al Kubaisi also presented a bouquet of flowers to His Excellency in a spontaneous gesture reflecting the students’ joy and appreciation.
During the visit, Sheikh Dr. Khalid toured the center’s various facilities, where he was introduced to the methods used to teach students a range of vocational and handicraft skills, including printing, drawing, decorative arts, and other accompanying rehabilitation activities.
He also met with the administrative and teaching teams and listened to a briefing on the center’s current needs and future aspirations, aimed at further developing its programs and services.
In addition, Sheikh Dr. Khalid engaged in a warm conversation with the students, who expressed their gratitude for his interest in learning about their talents and abilities.
At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Dr. Khalid conveyed his best wishes for success to the center’s management and students. He emphasised the importance of cooperation with parents and supporting them in adopting the best approaches in caring for their children.
He also stressed the need to provide all necessary resources for the center and to strengthen collaboration efforts to enhance rehabilitation services, maximise their impact, and empower beneficiaries for active integration into society.
