Doha, Qatar: In a strategic step towards developing digital transformation in the educational sector, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched its new official website.
This update comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance its electronic services and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their delivery to the public.
At the beginning of the meeting on the website launch, Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Maryam Abdullah Al-Mohannadi said that the website, in its new form, had witnessed a fundamental improvement in its content. It considers the needs and aspirations of the target groups to increase effectiveness.
Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry Mona Salem Al-Fadhli presented the new website’s features. She stressed that the new design aligns with the country’s visual identity and ensures an innovative and interactive browsing experience thanks to the latest technologies and the employment of artificial intelligence tools to help the user browse the site and identify its contents.
Al Fadhli also highlighted that the site includes additional features, such as a special tab for the Ministry’s events, instant notification to enhance direct communication with the public, and a diverse library of photos and videos. The site also facilitates access to high-demand information such as examination schedules, school calendars, and frequently asked questions.
The new website reflects the competencies and services of all sectors and departments of the Ministry. It allows students, parents, media professionals, teachers, researchers, academics, and investors to obtain the necessary information and complete transactions quickly and efficiently.
The website serves as a networking platform with regional and international organizations, allowing for exchanging information and enhancing awareness of the Ministry’s educational strategies, policies, and initiatives.
The Ministry intends to continue updating the website by adding features to meet changing needs and support ongoing digital transformation.
