Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Chamber (QC) held a meeting yesterday with a Korean delegation representing the Experts Team at the Hyundai Research Institute (HRI). The meeting was attended by QC board member and Chair of Food Security Committee, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, and Byung Haak, Director of Business Development Department at PlanTfarm.
Board members of the Food Security Committee Dr Hamad Al Saad and Naser Ahmed Al Khalaf were also present at the meeting. Speaking at the meeting, Mohamed Al Obaidli highlighted that the State of Qatar has made significant strides in the fields of agriculture and food security.
He emphasised the Chamber’s support and keenness on enhancing cooperation between Qatari and
Korean companies in this
regard. He noted that Qatar is a leading investment destination in this sector, indicating that it could serve as a hub for the entire region in terms of food security.
