Doha: Msheireb Museums in collaboration with International Labour Organization in Qatar is inviting young aspiring photographers to join in their photo competition and win up to QR3,000.
The competition is open to ages 14 to 18 who can express the concept of freedom with a photograph. This is inspired by Bin Jelmood House and the “Art of Freedom” exhibition which is still running until February 2.
The said exhibit discusses topics related to modern types of slavery in Arab societies.
To participate in the competition, an individual should post the photo on Instagram with the hashtag #IamAware2022.
Three winners will then be selected where first placer will win QR3,000; second placer, QR2,000; and third placer, QR1,000.
Deadline for submission is January 31.
