The Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi accompanied with some Ministry’s officials recently visited a number of protected areas. There are eleven protected areas in Qatar having special species of plants, animals and birds like houbara, ostriches, ducks etc.
The visit included Al Reem protected area and Al Boroq protected area in North West and took a briefing on the situation of these protected areas.
