Kyoto: A 40 cm snake was discovered in Japan inside an airplane, leading to the flight’s cancellation.
According to The Independent, quoting local Japanese paper Kyodo News, the snake was identified as “non-venomous”.
A mechanic for Japan Air Commuter, part of Japan Airlines, discovered the snake under the aircraft carpet at Fukuoka airport on Monday.
“The flight was cancelled after the snake was spotted while the aircraft was being prepared for departure,” the report read.
