Doha: The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announced that a temporary closure will be put in place for 250 meter of the right entrance lanes on Mohammed bin Thani Street, leading from the Corniche Street to Al Bidaa Street on the Qatar National Theatre Intersection, as shown in the attached map. The closure will being on the evening of Thursday 22nd, October 2015, until the dawn of Sunday 25th, October, 2015.
During this period, vehicles heading from he Corniche Street to Al Bidaa Street need to use Rumaila Roundabout and enter Al Bidaa Street and continue northwards.
The traffic closure aims to allow the implementation of road improvement works, as part of the second phase of the Corniche Road Improvement Project.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the closure. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
