Doha: The Police Academy, represented by the Police Officers Institute, organized a specialized scientific lecture entitled "Security Leadership in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," which highlighted the importance of keeping leadership in step with rapidly advancing technological developments and their impact on the modern security work system.
The event was attended by His Excellency Major General Dr. Abdullah Youssef Al-Mal, Legal Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy, along with the participation of several department directors, committee heads, assistants, and officers.
The event featured the presentation of research papers by international experts, where Spanish expert Ramses Gaigo, a specialist in cybersecurity strategies and digital transformation, alongside American expert Mark Fritzer, a leadership expert and executive consultant, reviewed the historical development of technological transformations leading to the artificial intelligence boom, as well as the best leadership practices necessary to preserve human capital.
The lecture concluded with a discussion session that addressed the mechanisms for dealing with emerging security challenges, where the participants emphasized the necessity of achieving a strategic balance between utilizing modern artificial intelligence technologies to enhance security efficiency and consolidating the pivotal and vital role of the human element in security decision-making.
