Kuwala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced the hosting of the fourth edition of the Conference of Presidents and Secretaries General of National and Regional Football Associations on October 21 and 22 in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
The AFC stated in a press release today that the fourth edition will be held in collaboration with the Japan Football Association, with the participation of more than 120 attendees representing the 47 national associations and the five regional associations under the umbrella of the continental confederation.
The conference serves as an important platform to facilitate the exchange of experiences, expand participants' knowledge, share ideas, enhance capacities, and provide opportunities for networking and relationship building.
Since its launch in 2023, the conference has become a key event on the AFC’s annual agenda for the presidents and secretaries general of the 47 national associations and the five regional associations.
The conference sessions will cover topics including artificial intelligence, global football innovation, the development of women's football, leadership in football, alongside interactive discussions featuring prominent experts.
The previous editions of the conference were held in Tashkent, Seoul, and Riyadh.
