MAKKAH: Qatar will host the next coordinating meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) hajj missions in February 2016.
This was announced during the annual meeting of GCC hajj missions that was held at the headquarters of Bahrain hajj mission in Makkah and was attended by chief president of Qatar hajj mission Dr Abdulsalam Ali Al Qahtani.
The meeting discussed issues related to the hajj season this year and ways to strengthen cooperation between the GCC missions to serve the pilgrims of the GCC countries and their security and safety so that they can perform their rituals easily.
Head of the Kuwaiti hajj mission Khalif bin Mthieb AlUtahianah, who chaired the meeting, stressed at the end of the meeting the importance of GCC hajj missions' meetings, noting that there is continued coordination among them to continuously improve the level of the GCC hajj missions.QNA
