DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) held on Sunday a media day for the second division clubs days ahead of the league kickoff scheduled for August 26.
Organized under the auspices of the QFA's Marketing and Communication Administration, the activities of the media day were held at Abdullah bin Suhaim Indoor Hall at Qatar Sports Club with participation from clubs of Al Khor, Lusail, Al Bidaa, Mesaimeer, Al Shahaniya, Muaither, and Kharaitiyat, and the second division referees amid excellent interaction from all participants.
The activities included photo sessions and media interviews for the clubs' footballers and technical staff. These photos and videos will be used during the next season for marketing, promotional campaigns, TV airing and production.
The QFA hailed the second division championship as one of the most important annual competitions nationwide.
