Doha, Qatar: The 3rd Hamba Pakistani Mango Exhibition and Its Products achieved remarkable results, recording total sales of 174,152 kilograms (174.152 tonnes) while welcoming over 84,600 visitors during the exhibition days.
The exhibition organized by the Private Engineering Office in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar, concluded on Monday, July 20, at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.
More than 30 Pakistani and local companies participated alongside over 30 restaurants and food producers, showcasing a wide variety of dishes, desserts, pickles, juices, ice cream, and seasonal fruits imported from Pakistan.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore more than ten of Pakistan's most renowned mango varieties, including Sindhri, Chaunsa, White Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Dussehri, and others, in addition to innovative mango-based products and recipes.
To ensure the highest standards of food safety, an on-site laboratory was established in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Municipality, as well as a commercial laboratory, to conduct the necessary inspections and quality testing.
Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the 3rd Hamba Pakistani Mango Exhibition and Its Products, stated that the third edition built on the success of the previous two editions and further established the exhibition as one of Souq Waqif's leading seasonal events.
He noted that the continued cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar resulted in broad participation from companies and restaurants, presenting some of Pakistan's finest mango varieties alongside innovative food products and recipes that reflected the richness and diversity of Pakistani cuisine.
He further explained that the exhibition's final results reflect the strong public turnout and reaffirm the exhibition's growing position as a leading platform for showcasing Pakistan's finest mango varieties and products in the State of Qatar.
