Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality announced the commencement of the local dates festival showcasing the finest rutab dates varieties.
The festival, which is set to start from July 25 until August 10, 2026, at the Eastern Square in Souq Waqif, celebrates Qatar's rich agricultural heritage, particularly its dates, and supports local farmers.
Visitors can explore various locally grown date varieties, engage with farmers, and learn about traditional farming practices.
The festival runs from 4pm to 9pm from Sundays to Thursdays and from 4pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
