DOHA: Qatar Museums (AQM) and IDAM, an Alain Ducasse Restaurant, are celebrating and encouraging the spirit of giving during Ramadan by donating five percent of IDAM’s Suhoor menu price to Sheikh Eid Charitable Association.
IDAM, at Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), with spectacular views of the Doha skyline, offers a memorable Ramadan experience with a special Suhoor menu and a tribute to the tradition of hospitality and generosity in support of those directly affected by poverty or crisis in the Gulf and Middle East region.
Sheikh Eid Charitable Association, close to QM, dedicates efforts to take aid to the needy and promote voluntary pursuits in the community.
Working to improve the quality of people’s lives, the charity has a global reach — from Qatar to several areas across the world. It has played a fundamental role in international relief efforts, most recently providing aid for Nepal earthquake victims in April.
In line with Qatar National Vision 2030, QN continues working to support human development through initiatives, including arts, education and philanthropy.
On the importance of the initiatives, Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, Acting CEO, QM, said: “We are pleased to be taking part in a worthy cause in the spirit of Ramadan and supporting Sheikh Eid Charitable Association in its commendable efforts to help those less fortunate.
“It is our aim to help enrich the quality of people’s lives and support philanthropic causes across the region to achieve a better future for generations to come.”
